            My name is Angie Varina and I am a ONE Stroke™ Certified Instructor. I have always been creative and passionate about crafts. I enjoy painting and making beautiful things. The ONE Stroke technique is a creative outlet for me and has become my passion. In February 2005 I signed up for my first ONE Stroke painting class at a local craft store. I was hooked. I came back every week to learn new flowers and techniques. I loved painting so much and wanted to share my knowledge with others. In July 2005, I registered for the ONE Stroke Certification, which was held in Long Island. In September 2005, I received my certificate signed by Donna Dewberry. Immediately I started teaching at the local craft store. Yes, now I was the teacher at the same store I went to for classes! Since the Fall of 2007, I have been offering painting classes at my home studio located in Great Meadows, New Jersey.

            The ONE Stroke painting technique created by Donna Dewberry is a popular method of decorative painting. ONE Stroke allows you to blend, shade and highlight all in one stroke. Because it is a quick and easy technique, it allows more people to try it and experience the art of decorative painting. It gives me great joy when a student becomes enthusiastic about painting for the first time. I love to paint and love to share that love of painting with others.
